This project is dedicated to

  • increasing the visibility of the animal rights movement in Luxembourg*;
  • supporting the debate on animal rights issues;
  • giving an introduction to the theory of the contemporary animal rights movement and the current ethical challenges;
  • following the latest research on the intrinsic capacities of animals which, in our society, determine their moral status.

More than a question of compassion. It is a question of justice based on scientific evidence.

It wants to contribute to end a culture of oppression, abuse and institutionalized violence towards non-human animals. It defends the view that animals and humans should be considered equal in fundamental rights and acknowledges animals’ subjective, sentient, existence and their inherent dignity.
